Colorhouse – Pulse Art Fair

MEDIUM: Poly-Tex Greenhouse with Encapsulite lighting. Silver Birch Forest [provided by Jungle Design NY].

A physical depiction of our relationship with nature, via both organic and synthetic representations. Traditionally, greenhouses are incubators for living matter – transparent progenitors. COLORHOUSE abstracts the growth process – grow lamps are replaced with multihued lamps, creating cascades of saturated color that fill the space profoundly, and play across the surrounding “natural environment” of Silver Birch and Maple trees. We created a 3D wireframe “house” using color and light.
